Axe Valley Men’s Shed is a registered charity (1191653) and member of the UK Men’s Sheds Association. We create a welcoming space that fosters social interaction, builds connections, and promotes friendship. Through practical skill-sharing and knowledge exchange, we combat social isolation and support men’s mental health and overall well-being. Additionally, we actively engage in practical initiatives within our local community.
If you want to help support our work to improve the mental health and wellbeing of local men and our restoration of the former Axbridge Railway Station, then please make a donation on our GoFundMe page.
See the About Us page for a better understanding of what Men’s Sheds do.
At our “shed”, located in the former Axbridge Railway Station, we offer companionship, equipment and expertise, including hand and powered woodworking tools, computers, a laser engraver, and gardening tools. See our Events page for more information
We carry out a range of activities including a Model Railway club, Tai Chi, wood carving, carpentry, joinery, computers, and so much more! Take a look at our News page to see the sort of activities we get up to.
Everyone is welcome to come into our home at Axbridge Railway station for a chat about what we do. See the Contact page for details of how to find us. The kettle is always on!
As a charity we are thankful to receive financial contributions and assistance from a number of organisations – see our Sponsors page for details. You can also support our work personally by making a donation through our GoFundMe page.
